Restart Service Application in sharepoint2010
To restart service applications, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
Open-->SharePoint Managment Shell
Start-SPServiceInstance –Identity
Where is the GUID of the service application.
To restart all service applications, use Start-SPServiceInstance without any parameters
